Dan Corak
Drums
vocal
Dan Corak was born somewhere in this world and it is still unknown what year. At the age of 1 week he was left on the doorstep of someone’s garage door.. when found, he was taken in and given a nice home in the corner of this lovely families garage. It is there Dan was introduced to the Monkey Wrench, Motor Oil, Hammers and Drills..
His Step parents bought him his first bike but he had to fix it. Being mechanically inclined Dan quickly took on the task to fix his bike so he can get to Canadian Tire and K Mart on his own instead of having to take the bus. His step parents didn’t have a car so this bike would be his saving grace.
Later in life Dan became very popular with the local red necks and helped everyone fix their bikes as well. When all of a sudden one day this monster hunk of metal came through the farm blowing black smoke, making all sorts of noises and fluids just gushing out of them. DAN was mesmerized.. quickly he said to the man “hey bro , what’s that. The man replied this is called a CAR.” Wow said Dan… can I look at it? I think i can fix it to make her run better. The man accepted and let Dan look at the car. With his monkey wrench and hammer in hand Dan attempts to fix the man’s car. He tried for hours, frustration built, anger built, the sweats were happening, the whole town was looking and then it happened. Dan Blew A Gasket. He started pounding the monkey wrench and the hammer all over the poor man’s car and wouldn’t stop. He absolutely destroyed the guys car. When he he was finished and realized what he had done, he turned around and apologized to man in tears. In Awww the guy turns around and says do you think you can do that on some pots and pans or maybe a piece of wood. It’s much easier then steel. DAN CONFUSED says I can do anything. It was at that moment Dan Corak became a drummer and turned his life around..
Dan was inspired by music at a really young age. At the age of 15 he finally started playing drums in the high school band. Always driven to learn; he started to take drum lessons from a well known drum teacher and became inspired to learn and practice even more. So much so that he decided to pursue music full time. He studied music at Mohawk College where he was heavily influenced by Jazz, Funk, Rock, Blues & Country. With this atmosphere of jamming and practicing in any band he could find he became a regular working drummer almost every night of the week 6 for years traveling through North America playing the top clubs, theaters, festivals and concerts. Dan has a vast amount of experience playing all types of music and has graciously accepted the opportunity to play with Rujno Vino.

Marko Levak

keyboard
lead vocal
Glavni “lokal” jer puno loče. Born in in 1868, was assisting with first ever accordion made.
Later he participated in WWI and WWII and was hiding in the woods for almost 10 years because nobody told him the war was over.
While in the woods Marko developed a passion for singing major sharp off key accapellas called “Jodlanje” while treating
local vineyards with “sumporača” (an improvised accordion).
After he realized the war is over he snuck back into civilization trying to lead a normal life.
Besides music he likes watching long walks and people exercising on TV.
Marko Levak, born on July 10th, 1987 in Zabok, Croatia, is an accordionist, composer and instrumentalist, currently working and living in Toronto, Canada.
After graduation from Vatroslav Lisinski elementary and high music school in Zagreb he continued his education in Canada at Seneca College expanding his knowledge in Culture of Jazz.
His musical uniqueness derives from combining of multiple musical styles all over the world, including classical, traditional, jazz, international, Croatian and other types of music. After almost 20 years of performance at live concerts, weddings, studios and other events he continues his musical career as Rujno Vino’s band leader and founder and participates in other musical projects.

Ed Stepanic
guitar
vocal
Ed’s bloodline can be impossibly traced back to Chech nobility in the “House of Stepan” They fled south during the Peasant Uprising and settled in the Kingdom of Croatia, taking up the name Stepanić. He was born and raised in Canada by parents who fled communism in Yugoslavia. At an early age his parents were rather distraught with Ed’s penchant for leaving the house only to return days later, apparently not hungry, thirsty or tired. In Zen Buddhist texts it had later been revealed that Ed was studying the enlightenment of Thich Nhat Hanh. By the age of 25 Ed had traveled to 32 countries and boasted proficiency in several foreign languages including Tamil, Belarussian and Klingon. By the age of 35 Ed had worked for several foreign intelligence services but says if he told us anything, he would have to kill us. In 2016 he was nominated for the title of “The Most Interesting Man in the World” However, due to his deficiency in wild boar hunting skills, was edged out by a Frenchman. In a statement regarding the loss he said, “I cannot kill an innocent animal – but damn that meat tastes good”.
Currently has settled into a modest existence enjoying football, fried food and beer.
Ed was born on 12 September 1969 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada where he learned to skate, play hockey, and eat “žganci”. His early exposure to music included many Jugoton cassette tapes, Elvis and Beatles records.
Recognizing the need to learn an instrument, his parents failed to convince him the accordion was the instrument he should play at a time the American band KISS had become most popular. He finally picked up a guitar at the age of 15, routinely listening to AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Rush and Iron Maiden. His parents just didn’t understand. Three years later, a guy named Nick called and asked if he would be interested in playing guitar in a Croatian band. The name of that band was Plavi Dim and without a doubt set the foundation for the rest of his musical career.
Ed would later go on to play guitar in Hrvatska Mladost, various bar bands including Hipsters United, and even back up a Canadian country rock artist. Ed quit playing guitar and performing in 2018 but the itch to play music remained. It didn’t take long to satisfy the itch – Dan Corak called and invited Ed to audition for Rujno Vino band.
Ed currently works for an aerospace company and lives in Burlington with his wife, Lisa and daughter, Savita.
